With our Line Dance teachers Gord and Georgina Cooke we premiered Country Nights everywhere. Even bars that were rock or dance bars were having Country nights. The Dance craze was on and people were loving it.  A few places that were going great was a Bar Called Misty’s on the Airport strip every Thursday night with CFGM 1320 Country and  820 Cham Country  and Graceland that became  the Smoky Rose. One person that was big at that time was a Gentleman called WAYNE KING and Wayne was Management/ Dance/ and Country singer. By this time I was getting Cd’s and Videos of line dances and two stepping. Also would you believe extended plays of Country music. It was crazy to play a dance mix in Country but it was happening.  Our Dance Instructors Gord and Georgina were playing 5 to 6 nights a week and Dancing to Live bands or myself as a DJ sometimes during the bands break. It was a ton of fun and below are some of the bars were over the years Gord and Georgina taught Line Dancing Two Stepping, Couples Dances,  Eastcoast /Westcoast swing and Waltz. They were the ones to me that started it all and Everyone followed in there foot steps. To Shirley and I They were Family.
